Learning Lager at the Brooklyn Brewery

BK #1

After residing in Brooklyn for a little over a year, I’ve been spending as much time as possible exploring. Recently, upon request for a friends birthday, I was introduced to the Brooklyn Brewery. I had always noticed their beer while perusing my local corner store, but had never had the opportunity to try it, so this trip was a pleasant surprise.

The brewery is quaint and offers free tours, as well as merchandise and beer tasting. Since the tours are free, you do have to purchase tokens if you want to drink. They are $4 each or 6 for $20 but well worth the cost and the wait if you catch a crowd.

They feature core brands, which are available year round, seasonal beers, like my personal favorite, Summer Ale, big bottles and Brewmasters Reserve, which are made in limited quantities.

On your way out if you stop off at their merch stand the brewery has been offering a deal, for $15 you get a bottle of Brooklyn Lager 1 or 2 and two glasses that feature their logo.
