It’s a true story that I’m in Jamie Lynn’s Kitchen at least once a month, catching up with friends over coffee, enjoying an omelet, or simply soaking up ambiance. Maybe it’s the cute little breakfast muffins, maybe it’s the fact that it’s about ten mns from home, but for a round-the-corner haunt, Jamie Lynn’s delivers the goods.

The menu on this cute little eatery is chock full of variety, with flavors like Fried Calamari, Pita Salad, and a full range of pasta and fish dishes. Stop by on Sunday morning for a brunch menu, sweet mimosa’s, and a seat at their outdoor patio. The sweet decor is charming, but totally attainable, leaving a cozy feeling between munching at your friends house, and dining in a cafe in the Mediterranean.

Families will wanna stop in and check on one of Jamie Lynn’s Kitchen’s numerous culinary programs for kids.

Jamie Lynn’s Kitchen. 1504 86th Street Brooklyn, New York.

About the author

Annemarie Dooling

Ever since her first essay was published in a third-grade anthology about Jane Goodall, Annemarie has been hooked on writing. She's since traded in print publications for HTML and pencils for iPads but prides herself on the same journalistic integrity that her news print reporting background required. Time Out, Marie Claire, Lifetime, and AOL are just some of the venues that publish her work. A native New Yorker, she lives vicariously through French fashion blogs, weekend gambling trips, and coffee.

    I just love the place.
I am addicted to the mussels with chorizo in white sauce. I also like her seasonal raviolis. My dauhter raves about her famous chicken salad wrap. Everything I’ve ever eaten there is fantastic.
Another thing I like about the place is that Jamie is very accomodating to special requests. Kudos to you Jamie-Lynn.
