I Love New York
There’s a saying around New York that from July 4th till the end of summer, the city is dead. Summer Fridays and vacation homes take the place of coffee meetups and spring walks up the block. But if you’re hanging around (or visiting) this summer, let this be your guide. Who better to lead you through New York than a born-and-raised Brooklynite who has spent time at every hot dog cart, farm stand, hospital, police station, and bar in the boroughs?
Rediscover Old New York Relics like the Highline and Brooklyn’s Admiral Row.
Get to know your bridges, tunnels, and crossings. Be friendly to them if you expect them to be friendly (read: traffic free) to you.
Venture into new neighborhoods to find a bite to eat by local chefs, or try a super cheap lunch at a New York City Greenmarket.
And finally, remember that if you get closed in, there are numerous mountains just an hour and a half from the city, where you can stretch, breathe… and long for the city.
If you need a personal guide, log in to Twitter and gain some loving knowledge from the city’s finest at NYCGO, Brooklyn Based, and NewYorkology.
See you ’round the city!

NYC, one of the greatest cities in the U.S.
