I’m Not Gunna Write You a Love Song

I am getting married in 937 days.

I can’t believe the words as I’m typing them and although that might look like a whole lot of days, I can actually feel my single life fading away.

While I promise not to turn this into a wedding blog, there might be the occasional “look at the cute skirt I found” if it fits into my aesthetics or of the site is particularly aesthetic. And, I just might feature the occasional “Stuff To Do Before I Tie the Knot” list because once your hitched you can’t run off to Costa Rica with tanned 19 year olds.

Along those lines I’d like to present these…

These flats are actually crystallized cashmere by Autumn Cashmere, as featured in Page Six Magazine’s 2008 Holiday Gift Guide. I plan on rocking them through my Epcot reception after a dress change because who really wants to drag a train on 8 inch heels through Walt Disney World? Adding a cashmere cardigan or wrap to the outfit makes it uniquely me, much like everything else in this shindig, including the four cakes, guest list of only 60 people, and engagement photo shoot on Pirates of the Caribbean.

Pick these up here, here, or here.

She's since traded in print publications for HTML and pencils for iPads but prides herself on the same journalistic integrity that her news print reporting background required. A native New Yorker, she lives vicariously through French fashion blogs, weekend gambling trips, and coffee.
