They sound great and it's completely stunning how much background noise they kill. However, the kicker is that they're hard to sleep with on planes/trains. When I'm trying to sleep in a sitting position I tend to turn my head to one side or the other. But the headphones don't let me turn my head sideways on to the headrest. It's like a cruel trick that you finally can only hear your own music and relax, but can't get comfy. I still love them dearly though, don't get me wrong. In the event of a water landing I'll be saving my headphones before I save that seat kicking son of a bitch behind me. I have a pair of Bose noise canceling headphones.
